Iran Calls in German, Austrian Envoys in Diplomatic Gesture

The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the ambassadors of Germany and Austria to Tehran in protest of their countries’ actions in summoning Iranian envoys over Operation True Promise II. Director General Majid Nili Ahmadabadi emphasized Iran’s commitment to defending its security and the legitimacy of the recent military action in the region.

Nili Ahmadabadi also criticized European countries for their support of Israel, stating that stronger actions could have prevented current tragedies. The German and Austrian ambassadors pledged to convey Iran’s protest to their governments.

This diplomatic standoff highlights tensions between Iran and European nations, with each side defending their respective actions and positions. With Iran reiterating its commitment to regional security and standing against foreign intervention, the situation remains volatile.

It is essential for all parties to engage in dialogue and find common ground to prevent further escalation and promote peace in the region.
