The Yemeni Armed Forces Strikes Tel Aviv with Drones
The Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) have launched a successful drone operation targeting Tel Aviv, known as Yafa by its residents. Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the spokesperson for YAF, confirmed that multiple drones hit important targets within the city without being intercepted by Israeli defense systems.
This operation is part of the YAF’s “fifth phase” military campaign to support Palestine and Lebanon. General Saree expressed solidarity with freedom fighters in the West Bank and those resisting Israeli occupation in Lebanon and Iraq. He also called on Arab and Islamic nations to show their support for the Palestinian and Lebanese people.
Israeli media reported that five drones were launched from Yemen, reaching Tel Aviv at around 2:00 am local time. Loud explosions were heard in Tel Aviv, Herzilya, and Petah Tikva, with another drone reaching the Bat Yam settlement south of the city. Sirens sounded in Bat Yam at 2:53 am, prompting a search by warplanes and helicopters for the incoming drones.
