With over 1,100 casualties and thousands displaced, Turkey stands firm in its efforts to cease the ongoing atrocities and work towards a lasting peace in Palestine. A call for increased international intervention, particularly from the United Nations Security Council, has been made to prevent further escalation of the conflict beyond Palestinian territories.
Additionally, Turkey reaffirmed its commitment to combatting terrorist organizations, particularly in Syria, to ensure national security. Efforts to resolve conflicts in Syria aligning with regional interests and expectations are prioritized.
Cooperation with neighboring Iraq against shared threats, such as the PKK/KCK-PYD/YPG, remains a key focus for Turkey. Emphasis on security and prosperity for the Iraqi people is reiterated.
Turkey’s dedication to establishing stability and peace in the Mediterranean and Aegean regions will not be exploited, with a clear call for rational and strategic actions moving forward.
