Sharif compared Khan’s actions to Central Asian invaders attacking Punjab in ancient times, criticizing PTI’s governance in KP and the failure to deliver on promises.
Sharif also condemned the judges who ousted him from power in the Panama Papers case, citing injustice and leaked audio conversations. He recalled a meeting with Khan in 2014 and expressed disappointment in the establishment for repeatedly removing him from office prematurely.
Accompanied by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, Sharif’s daughter, at the ceremony, they criticized Khan’s lack of focus on improving facilities for KP residents, instead inciting chaos and protests.
In a bold move, Maryam Nawaz invited KP residents seeking healthcare, jobs, or education to Punjab but warned against causing chaos, emphasizing the importance of political activity over terrorism.
This heated exchange of words highlights the ongoing political tensions in Pakistan, with Sharif and his family openly challenging the PTI-led government, setting the stage for potential future conflicts and power struggles.
