The Federal Commissioner, South West of the Code of Conduct Bureau, Abdulsalam Taofiq Olawale, raised concerns about the non-compliance of Lagos State public officials in filling and submitting the Assets Declaration Form to the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB). During his visit to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Olawale requested the governor’s assistance in ensuring that the officials fulfill their obligations.
In response, Sanwo-Olu assured support to the Code of Conduct Bureau and emphasized the importance of transparency and accountability in governance. He acknowledged the role of the bureau in maintaining checks and balances and pledged to work collaboratively to address any issues of non-compliance.
