Israel’s airstrikes on the Tulkarm refugee camp in the West Bank have resulted in at least 14 fatalities, according to the Palestinian health ministry. The Israeli military confirmed the strike but provided limited details on the incident.
Reports from the official Palestinian news agency WAFA suggested that Israeli warplanes targeted a popular cafe in Tulkarem camp while civilians were present, leading to casualties. Rescue services quickly responded to the scene, transporting the injured and deceased to the hospital.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society also played a crucial role in transporting the victims to receive medical assistance. This surge in violence in the West Bank comes amid heightened tensions following the conflict in Gaza, resulting in widespread arrests by Israeli forces.
