Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian criticized Western powers for their empty promises to his country during a meeting with Hamas’ Political Bureau in Qatar, emphasizing the need for restraint in the midst of a ceasefire in Gaza.
Pezeshkian’s missile attack response to Israel was in retaliation for Israeli crimes, with a warning of a harsher response if provoked further. He expressed sorrow over the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, who was a guest at his inauguration.
Right to Defend Itself
Defending Iran’s actions as self-defense against Israeli aggression, Pezeshkian warned Netanyahu to avoid conflict with Iran, highlighting the country’s readiness to protect its citizens and interests.
