Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) commander-in-chief, Hossein Salami, declared the launch of 200 missiles towards Israel, as reported by Tasnim news agency. In response, the Israeli military pledged to retaliate with attacks across the Middle East. Approximately 200 missiles were fired by Iran at Israel, with the effects currently being assessed.
Israeli military spokesperson Daniel Hagari confirmed that some missiles struck central and southern Israel, with a number being intercepted by air defense systems. Amid the night assault by Iran, a Palestinian man was tragically killed by shrapnel near Jericho in the West Bank, and two individuals in Tel Aviv sustained minor injuries. As of now, there are no reported fatalities within Israel.
These escalating tensions highlight the ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel, underscoring the need for diplomatic resolutions to prevent further violence in the region.
