Cuba has strongly denounced the repeated Israeli attacks on Damascus, emphasizing that these actions are in clear violation of international law and Syrian sovereignty. Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez expressed deep concern over the recent strikes on Damascus and the Mezzeh neighborhood, where many diplomatic missions are located, stating that they pose a serious threat to the lives of civilians and accredited diplomats in Syria.
The Cuban Foreign Ministry also raised alarm about the escalating tensions in the Middle East, attributing them to Israel’s aggressive policies backed by the United States. This support is seen as a destabilizing force in the region, further jeopardizing regional stability and security.
The statement by Cuba reflects a firm stance against the unilateral actions of Israel and underlines the importance of upholding international norms and respecting the sovereignty of nations.
