Tragedy struck near Quetta’s Brewery Roads Bypass as a bus carrying wedding guests veered off the road, resulting in seven fatalities and 19 injuries. Among the deceased were three children and a woman. The bus, en route from Khilji Colony Bypass to Baleli, tumbled into a ravine after a tire burst.
Authorities swiftly responded, moving the injured to Bolan Medical Complex for treatment. Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti expressed sorrow over the incident, promising an investigation into any negligence. Medical aid was promptly dispatched, with a state of emergency declared in hospitals.
Balochistan MPA and Chief Minister’s Adviser Bushra Rind extended sympathy to the victims and assured the government’s aid for the injured. As the community mourns the loss, efforts are underway to provide the best medical care to those affected by this unfortunate accident.
