Prime Minister Muhammad Ghazi Al-Jalali met with the Ambassador of India to Damascus, Irshad Ahmed, to discuss enhancing relations and cooperation between the two countries. The focus was on expanding collaboration in education, research, agriculture, technology, construction, energy, and air transport. Both parties highlighted the importance of leveraging Indian expertise and exchanging exports to benefit the economies of both nations.
The Indian Ambassador expressed India’s interest in increasing joint activities, particularly in technology, agricultural mechanization, and providing scholarships to Syrian students. The discussions aimed at fostering a new phase of cooperation based on mutual respect and shared benefits for India and Syria.
