The South Korean navy recently conducted joint maritime exercises with the U.S. Navy off the coast of Pohang, enhancing their combat readiness through various drills such as maritime and amphibious operations. The exercise included ships like the U.S. Navy’s USS Boxer and South Korea’s ROKS Yang Manchun, among others. USS Boxer, known for its ability to carry multiple aircraft, participated in similar joint exercises in August.

These exercises demonstrate the strong alliance between South Korea and the United States, showcasing their commitment to jointly addressing any potential threats from North Korea. The training also aims to enhance the interoperability and operational capabilities of both navies.
