UN Security Council addresses Sahara issue in crucial October sessions.

The United Nations is set to focus on the Sahara issue in three key sessions in October to renew the UN MINURSO mandate. The sessions will feature discussions on the conflict, operational challenges, and voting on a resolution to extend the mandate until 2025. Algeria and Morocco’s diplomatic efforts and regional support will also be addressed.
