North Korea has recently installed new large-scale loudspeakers near the Imjin River in Hwanghae Province. After sending sewage-filled balloons to the South, the North replaced its old 18 speakers with 28 new, larger ones. This move has significantly increased the volume of propaganda broadcasts directed towards South Korea.

According to officials at the Odusan Unification Observatory, the replacement work began last week and is now complete. The new speakers are said to be much louder than their predecessors, amplifying the intensity of the North’s messages.

This development marks an escalation in the ongoing tensions between North and South Korea, with the North taking measures to assert its influence through increased propaganda efforts.

The images captured on the site show North Korean officials in action, replacing the old speakers with the new ones. The installation of these loudspeakers serves as a reminder of the enduring conflict and propaganda warfare between the two Koreas.
