An Israeli soldier lost his life in combat in Lebanon as the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed on Wednesday. The tragic incident occurred after the Israeli army crossed the border to target Hezbollah positions during the week.
The IDF reported that 22-year-old Captain Eitan Itzhak Oster died during a battle with Hezbollah members in a village in southern Lebanon. This marks the first casualty of Israel’s ground operations in Lebanon.
