Iranian President Vows Severe Consequences for Israel

Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian issued a warning to Israel, stating that they must halt their “crimes” or face severe consequences. This comes after Iran launched almost two hundred rockets at Israel and sent ground troops into Lebanon in a conflict with Hezbollah.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed retaliation for the Iranian attack. Pezeshkian, known for his more moderate stance compared to his predecessor, emphasized the need for Israel to cease their actions to avoid further escalation.

As Pezeshkian prepared to travel to Qatar for scheduled discussions and agreements with the Qatari government, he highlighted the importance of Asian countries working together to prevent Israeli aggression and maintain stability in the Middle East.

The president’s trip to Doha will include participation in the Dialogue on Asian Cooperation, focusing on enhancing bilateral relations and strategizing to protect the region from external threats.
