‘한동훈 불참 용산 만찬, 단결 외쳤다’

President Yoon Suk-yeol recently hosted a dinner for members of the main opposition party at the Presidential Office in Yongsan. The dinner, held as a form of encouragement ahead of the upcoming parliamentary audit, lasted longer than previous meetings and featured a more relaxed atmosphere, with President Yoon even sharing a beer with some lawmakers. Despite tensions over key issues like the ‘twin prosecutor’ bill and allegations of interference in the party’s leadership, these topics were reportedly not discussed at the dinner. Instead, the focus was on fostering unity within the party during these challenging times. It was emphasized that this meeting was not about resolving personal differences but rather preparing for the parliamentary audit. The absence of the party leader, Han Dong-hoon, was noted but not seen as indicative of strained relations. Overall, the dinner was seen as an opportunity for constructive dialogue and unity among party members.
