US base in Baghdad struck by multiple rockets

Multiple Rockets Target US Base in Baghdad

Reports from Iraqi security sources reveal a series of rockets were launched at a US base near Baghdad International Airport. Three Katyusha rockets were fired, with two being intercepted by the base’s defenses and the third landing inside the airport without causing any casualties. The US defense official confirmed that military personnel were safe and not directly targeted.

The attacks come in response to US support for Israeli actions in Gaza and Lebanon. The Islamic Resistance in Iraq has been carrying out operations against US and Israeli interests in the region. They recently targeted Israeli sites in retaliation for the ongoing violence in Gaza. Additionally, Israel’s brutal assault on Gaza has resulted in numerous deaths, injuries, and displacements among the Palestinian population.

The conflict continues to escalate, with resistance groups in Iraq and neighboring countries retaliating against US support for Israeli aggression. The situation remains volatile, with tensions high and the need for peace and resolution pressing.
