Tragic Apple iPhone Delivery Ends in Murder in India

A delivery agent, Bharat Sahu, was brutally murdered while delivering the latest Apple iPhone in Uttar Pradesh, India. The accused, Gajanan, placed an order for the phone and chose the cash-on-delivery option. Upon Sahu’s arrival, Gajanan and his accomplice killed him, disposed of his body in a canal, and are currently on the run.

Authorities found Gajanan through Sahu’s call records, and his associate Akash confessed to the crime during interrogation. The motive behind the murder remains unclear.

This incident sheds light on the dark side of technology and e-commerce in India, where Apple’s sales have been soaring despite high pricing compared to average monthly wages. The company’s growing presence is evident with the opening of flagship stores in Mumbai and Delhi.

Despite the tragedy, loyal Apple fans in India continue to show immense enthusiasm, as seen with the launch of the iPhone 16, where devotees camped outside stores for hours. One fan, Ujjwal Shah, waited over 21 hours to be the first customer, showcasing the unwavering passion for Apple products in the country.
