Iran’s Foreign Ministry in Tehran has declared that the country will not be sending troops to Lebanon or Gaza to confront Israel amidst escalating attacks against Hezbollah and the Houthis. Despite not seeking war, Tehran remains unafraid and advocates for a secure and stable Middle East.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Nasser Kanaani emphasized that Iran has not received any requests for military assistance from Lebanon or Palestine, as both regions are capable of defending themselves against aggression. The Israeli airstrikes have targeted various militant groups, raising concerns of a broader conflict involving Iran and the US.
Kanaani assured that Israel will face consequences for their actions against Iran, its people, and the resistance forces. Recent IDF airstrikes in Lebanon have resulted in numerous casualties and forced evacuations, including targeted attacks on senior Hezbollah leaders.
Amidst the tensions, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian paid tribute to Hezbollah’s leader, Hassan Nasrallah. Despite the turmoil, Tehran remains firm in its stance for peace and security in the region.
