Former Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasiru Ahmad El-Rufai, boldly stated that he did not steal money while in office and is willing to swear on the Holy Qur’an to prove his innocence. In a recent interview on Freedom Radio Kaduna, El-Rufai challenged his predecessors and current leaders to do the same.
El-Rufai emphasized that his motive for entering politics was to serve the people, not to enrich himself. He expressed confidence in his transparency and integrity, stating, “I have no fear because I know I never took money that belonged to the people.”
Despite facing accusations and a smear campaign, El-Rufai remains focused on serving the people and upholding his principles. He plans to return to politics in 2027 after completing his studies, stressing the importance of genuine service over personal gain.
With unwavering faith in Allah’s judgment, El-Rufai maintains his innocence and vows to continue his commitment to public service. His willingness to take an oath and his dedication to serving the people demonstrate his integrity and steadfastness in the face of adversity.
