Criminal defense attorney Apostolos Lytras has been suspended from practicing law for six months by the Athens Bar Association following a domestic violence incident involving his wife.

Lytras must immediately surrender his lawyer’s identification as the ruling takes effect without the possibility of suspension. He was previously detained for three months for the assault on his spouse.
