Abbas Araghchi, the Iranian Foreign Minister, recently met with the representative of Lebanon’s Hezbollah in Tehran to offer his condolences for the loss of the great leader of the resistance, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah. Araghchi emphasized the power of martyrdom in the history of Shia, highlighting the impact of Nasrallah’s blood in strengthening Lebanon’s Hezbollah.
Araghchi spoke about the UN Security Council meetings he attended following the Zionist regime’s attack on Beirut and called for international support for the displaced Lebanese people. He also emphasized the need for Islamic countries to mobilize and support Lebanon in this challenging time.
Reflecting on his meeting with foreign ministers in New York, Araghchi criticized the role of the United States in supporting the Zionist regime and stressed the importance of holding them accountable for their actions.
He concluded that despite obstacles, Iran remains committed to supporting the resistance and ensuring that justice prevails in the face of oppression.
