South Batinah reveals fresh promotional image

The Launch of South Batinah Governorate’s New Promotional Identity

The South Batinah governorate unveiled its new promotional identity with the aim of boosting tourism and economic development, showcasing its rich heritage, culture, and natural beauty to a global audience. The launch ceremony, sponsored by H E Dr Khalfan bin Saeed al Shuaili, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, marks a significant step towards creating a distinct identity for the governorate.

Governor Masoud bin Saeed al Hashimi highlighted that the initiative, part of Oman Vision 2040, received overwhelming participation in a visual identity competition, reflecting the community’s enthusiasm for promoting South Batinah’s offerings. The governor emphasized the importance of an integrated strategy focusing on communication, excellence, and diversity to drive sustainable development across various sectors.

The governorate’s future plans include launching a portal for electronic services and a smartphone application to streamline procedures and enhance transparency and collaboration with government agencies. Additionally, digital projects such as infrastructure upgrades and interlinking government institutions will significantly improve public services, positioning South Batinah as a prime destination for investors and tourists.
