Empowering Local Governance: NNPP Offers Reduced Nomination Form Rates for Underrepresented Groups

The Ondo State chapter of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has announced the commencement of sales for Expression of Interest and Nomination forms for the upcoming local government elections scheduled for January 18, 2025.
Running from September 30 to October 18, 2024, interested aspirants are encouraged to secure their candidacy for various local government positions, with a special focus on promoting inclusivity.
With a 50% discount on nomination forms for women, Persons Living with Disabilities (PWDs), and youths aged 30 and below, NNPP aims to empower diverse candidates to represent all segments of society while promoting development, transparency, and accountability.
State Publicity Secretary Oluwafemi Olaleye emphasized the party’s commitment to grassroots democracy and broader participation in the electoral process, urging aspiring candidates to take advantage of the opportunity to engage in grassroots governance and make a meaningful impact in local governance.
