Milei launches LLA nationwide with 2025 elections in sight
Argentine President Javier Milei launched his political party La Libertad Avanza (LLA) as a nationwide force, gearing up for the 2025 elections. The event, held at the Parque Lezama amphitheater in Buenos Aires, saw a large turnout of supporters bussed in for the occasion.
Milei was joined by Presidential Secretary Karina Milei and other government officials at the event. Notably absent was Vice President Victoria Villarruel, voicing her disagreement with Milei’s policies, especially on the Falklands/Malvinas issue.
Milei praised his administration’s accomplishments, emphasizing economic improvements and social welfare programs. He also pledged to continue fighting against corruption and poverty, setting the stage for LLA’s participation in the upcoming elections.
