Netanyahu expressed hope for a future where Israel and Iran could coexist peacefully, once Iran is free. Recent airstrikes on Lebanon and the elimination of Nasrallah have heightened tensions in the region, with Israel considering a possible ground invasion. Defense Minister Yoav Gallant assured troops of Israel’s commitment to protecting its citizens in the face of retaliation from Hezbollah.
In response, Hezbollah’s deputy leader Naim Qassem vowed to thwart any Israeli invasion of Lebanon. The longstanding animosity between Iran and Israel continues to escalate, with threats of regime destruction on both sides following recent military engagements.
