In response to the Israeli war on Gaza, German police have initiated a search campaign targeting pro-Palestine homes in Berlin. This comes as part of efforts to crackdown on individuals suspected of committing pro-Palestinian crimes.
The ongoing campaign involves around 125 police officers and is aimed at individuals who support the Palestinians, including members of the Hamas movement and the Samidoun Prisoners’ Defense Network, both of which are banned in the country.
Last November, a similar campaign was launched in various German cities. Germany has also banned demonstrations in support of Gaza at the beginning of the recent conflict, where the Palestinian territory has been facing an Israeli war of extermination.
