Iranian and Palestinian diplomats were present at the event where criticism of US and Israel was vocalized. The killing of Nasrallah in an Israeli airstrike was confirmed by Hezbollah.
The Iranian envoy stated that Hezbollah is not a terrorist group. Israeli PM Netanyahu hailed Nasrallah’s killing as a significant move in the region.
CEASEFIRE UNLIKELY, SAYS PALESTINIAN ENVOY
Ceasefire prospects in the Israel-Hezbollah conflict were deemed unlikely by the Palestinian envoy. The war in Gaza has led to casualties and displacements.
Referring to the Gaza conflict, the Palestinian envoy expressed doubt in achieving a ceasefire with the current Israeli government.
