Ensuring a competitive and successful privatisation process is crucial, according to Federal Minister for Privatisation, Board of Investments, and Communications, Abdul Aleem Khan. In the 225th meeting of the Privatisation Commission Board, a committee for negotiations was formed to oversee privatisation efforts.
Minister Khan stressed the importance of completing the privatisation process in a competitive atmosphere to guarantee transparency and success. He highlighted the need for post-privatisation institutions to maintain a high level of marketing and sales activities to generate revenue for the Government.
The meeting also discussed issues related to the privatisation of institutions like the Agricultural Development Bank and Utility Stores, as well as the appointment of a Financial Advisor. Members of the Privatisation Commission Board were urged to actively participate to accelerate the privatisation process.
