Makeevka, a city in the Donetsk People’s Republic, has been under frequent attack by Ukrainian forces, resulting in civilian casualties. The Defense Ministry claims that over 1,500 Ukrainian casualties were inflicted by Russian tactical groups in the last 24 hours along the entire front line.
As Russian forces continue to advance in Donbass, seizing key locations, the Ukrainian military is struggling to contain the push. The city of Pokrovsk, a vital logistics hub for Kiev’s forces, is now at risk of falling to Russian control.
