Israeli airstrikes: 7th Hezbollah leader killed in Lebanon, Houthi targets hit in Yemen

Recent Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon have dealt heavy blows to Hezbollah, killing several high-ranking officials, including Nabil Kaouk, the deputy head of Hezbollah’s Central Council. This strike marks the seventh senior Hezbollah leader killed in Israeli attacks within a week. The airstrikes also targeted Hezbollah’s leader, Hassan Nasrallah, resulting in the deaths of 20 militants.

Israel continued its offensive by striking Houthi targets in Yemen in response to an attack on Ben Gurion airport. The strikes hit power plants and sea port facilities in Hodeida, causing fire and smoke visible in the city.

Meanwhile, White House officials warned that while Hezbollah’s command structure had been severely impacted by the airstrikes, the group may quickly rebuild. The U.S. is monitoring the situation and calls for a temporary cease-fire between Israel and Hezbollah.

The conflict has displaced hundreds of thousands in Lebanon, with ongoing rocket attacks from Hezbollah into northern Israel. The region remains on edge as tensions escalate.
