Israel conducts raids on ‘dozens’ of Hezbollah sites.

The Israeli military has conducted strikes against numerous Hezbollah targets in Lebanon following an airstrike that killed the group’s chief, Hassan Nasrallah. The Israel Defense Forces targeted buildings storing weapons and military structures of the organization in an effort to disable Hezbollah.

Since the bombardment of Hezbollah strongholds began, more than 700 people have been killed in Israeli strikes on Lebanon. This escalation in violence occurred after Hezbollah initiated low-intensity cross-border attacks on Israeli troops in response to Hamas’ attack on Israel, which triggered conflict in Gaza.

The recent airstrike that killed Nasrallah has heightened tensions in the region, sparking fears of an all-out war. Israel has been relentless in its efforts to cripple Hezbollah by targeting hundreds of their facilities in Lebanon.
