Iran Vows Response to Israeli Assassination of IRGC Deputy Commander
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has declared that the Israeli assassination of Brigadier General Abbas Nilforushan, the Deputy Commander for Operations of the IRGC, will not go unanswered. General Nilforushan was martyred in an Israeli airstrike in Beirut, alongside Hezbollah’s leader, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah. Araghchi condemned the act as a clear sign of the terrorist nature of the Zionist regime and vowed to pursue the perpetrators through diplomatic, legal, and international means.
He also expressed condolences and admiration for General Nilforushan’s dedication to Iran during the Iraq-Iran war and in supporting the resistance against terrorism and Zionism.
