Housing Bank recently conducted an evacuation exercise for its employees across its main buildings, including the General Headquarters Building in Shmeisani, as well as the Abdali and downtown locations. The drill took place over three days, from Tuesday, 24 September 2024, to Thursday, 26 September 2024, in collaboration with the Civil Defense Directorate.
This exercise highlights the bank’s commitment to maintaining high public safety standards to safeguard lives and property. The primary goal of the drill was to improve employee awareness and training on emergency evacuation procedures, ensuring their readiness in case of any unforeseen incidents. It demonstrated the effectiveness of the bank’s safety measures and reasserted its dedication to security and safety standards for employees, customers, and assets.
It is important to note that Housing Bank regularly conducts evacuation exercises in its main buildings and branches, following guidelines from the Civil Defense and the bank’s safety teams. In addition, all employees participate in ongoing training courses on accident response, facilitated by the Civil Defense Directorate and the bank’s specialized teams.
