KP Governor Raises Concerns Over Increasing Lawlessness in the Province
In a recent statement, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi highlighted the growing issue of lawlessness in the province. He criticized the current government, stating that the peaceful environment achieved in 2013 has deteriorated, with areas from Dera Ismail Khan to Kohat becoming “no-go areas.”
Governor Kundi expressed disappointment in the lack of attention to law and order, noting the absence of cabinet sessions on the matter. He also pointed out the financial challenges facing the province, despite a previously full treasury.
In addition, Kundi mentioned the efforts of the People’s Party, particularly Chairman Bilawal Bhutto, in advocating for the establishment of a constitutional court. He urged the PTI administration in KP to prioritize governance over rallies and processions to address the pressing issues facing the province.
