Tragedy struck in Delhi’s Bharthal village as a welding machine exploded, claiming the life of a 36-year-old man and leaving three others with severe burn injuries. The deceased, Maya Ram, was a resident of Bijwasan, while the injured are currently being treated at Safdarjung Hospital.
According to officials, the incident occurred while the men were working on an oil tanker in the village near Sector 25 in Dwarka. Police responded to a PCR call and rushed the injured to Indira Gandhi Hospital before transferring them to Safdarjung Hospital. Despite efforts to save him, Maya Ram tragically succumbed to his injuries.
A police team is now investigating the case, with plans to register an FIR in due course. The community is left reeling from the shocking event, as they mourn the loss of a beloved member. The incident serves as a grim reminder of the dangers faced by workers in various industries and the importance of safety precautions.
