In Taiz, workers and employees of Al-Thawra General Hospital have begun a comprehensive strike due to their salaries being suspended for nearly 3 months.
The employees have stated that they will continue the strike until their salaries are paid promptly by the Ministry of Finance of the coalition-backed government, without any further delays.
Previously, the hospital had been subjected to armed raids and closures by coalition factions, adding to the challenges faced by hospitals in the area where services for patients have been severely affected by the non-payment of dues, along with a shortage of medicines and medical equipment.
Despite the hardships faced, the workers and doctors remain resolute in their demand for fair compensation and proper resources to continue providing essential healthcare services in Taiz.
