Fifty-five Turkish defense contractors recently participated in the Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition ADEX in Baku, showcasing a range of homegrown aircraft and defense products. The event, which featured companies like Aselsan, Roketsan, and Turkish Aerospace Industries, saw the display of innovative products like unmanned aerial vehicles and air-to-surface missiles.
With a total of 270 companies from 40 countries in attendance, the Turkish defense contractors stood out with their impressive showcase. Highlights of the exhibition included the TAI Hurkus unmanned trainer aircraft, Baykar Bayraktar Akinci tactical UAV, and Roketsan’s Smart Micro Munition family of products.
Aselsan also made waves with their cutting-edge technology, including the Herikks 600-T system and the Sahin physical destruct system designed to intercept mini UAVs. The event provided a platform for international collaboration and networking in the defense industry.
