Police use all available resources to find suspects in Eastern Cape mass shooting

Gen Fannie Masemola, the national police commissioner, has mobilized maximum resources to track down the perpetrators of the brutal killing of 17 people in Nyathi Village, Ngobozana, Lusikisiki in the Eastern Cape. Minister of police Senzo Mchunu announced this during a media briefing at Thanduxolo School Hall in KwaNobuhle, Gqerberha.

A dedicated team of detectives and forensic experts has been deployed to piece all evidence together in order to apprehend the criminals. Mchunu expressed full confidence in the team and urged them to act swiftly for the benefit of the community. The motive behind the killings is unknown, but investigations are ongoing.

Meanwhile, in another tragic incident in Mdantsane, two toddlers and a baby died from suspected food poisoning. The Eastern Cape premier, Oscar Mabuyane, extended his condolences to the affected families and condemned the senseless acts of violence.
