PM Shehbaz Sharif Invites Political Parties to Sign ‘Charter of Economy’
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reiterated his call for all political parties to sign the ‘Charter of Economy’ for the betterment of the country. Speaking at a press conference in London, he highlighted Pakistan’s stance on global issues, such as Palestine and Kashmir, during his address at the United Nations General Assembly.
PM Shehbaz discussed his meetings with world leaders on the sidelines of the UNGA, including the British Prime Minister and the President of Turkiye. He strongly advocated for the rights of Palestinians and Kashmiris, emphasizing the need for immediate action.
On the economic front, the Prime Minister emphasized the positive direction of Pakistan’s economy, attributing it to the government’s efforts to save the country from default. He expressed gratitude to friendly countries and economic team members for their support in securing an agreement with the IMF.
PM Shehbaz Sharif highlighted the significant drop in inflation and stable commodity prices as indicators of economic improvement. He called for collective efforts, especially from the elite class, to promote further economic development in the country.
