Speaking during the 79th United Nations General Assembly in New York, Safadi criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for his aggressive stance and disregard for international advice. He also pointed out the potential for conflict in Lebanon due to Israeli provocations.
Safadi stressed the importance of preventing the situation from worsening in the West Bank, as this could lead to a regional conflict. He warned that the radical Israeli government’s actions could jeopardize Israel’s future and called for immediate intervention to avert disaster.
