Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, also known as Abu Hadi, was born in al-Bazuriyya town, Lebanon on August 31, 1960. Despite humble beginnings, Nasrallah showed promise from a young age, being actively involved in political activities. He rose to prominence as the Secretary-General of Hezbollah in 1992, following the assassination of his predecessor Abbas al-Musawi.
Nasrallah’s leadership was marked by his fierce opposition to the Israeli occupation of Lebanon. Under his command, Hezbollah launched successful campaigns to push back Israeli forces, ultimately leading to Israel’s withdrawal from southern Lebanon in 2000 after a 22-year occupation.
His commitment to the liberation of Palestine and defense of Palestinians further solidified his reputation as a formidable leader in the Arab and Islamic worlds. Nasrallah’s support of Palestinian resistance against Israeli aggression, most notably during the 2006 Lebanon War, earned him widespread respect and admiration.
In his final speech, Nasrallah reaffirmed his unwavering dedication to the cause of resistance, vowing to continue the fight against injustice and oppression. His legacy as a leader and a fighter for freedom and justice will forever be remembered.
