IDF shoots down Yemen missile after sirens in central Israel in 80 chars

The IDF successfully intercepted a surface-to-surface missile launched from Yemen, triggering air raid sirens in central Israel. The Arrow defense system thwarted the attack outside Israeli borders, with no reported casualties except for individuals suffering shock or minor injuries while seeking shelter.

Hazem Al-Asad from Yemen posted a photo of Hezbollah’s Hassan Nasrallah after the incident, vowing retaliation against Israel. This comes after another missile launch on Thursday, which also triggered alarms in central Israel. Earlier this month, a Houthi missile aimed at central Israel was partially intercepted near Ben Gurion Airport.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, back from the UN General Assembly, is set to conduct security consultations in response to the escalating tension. The relentless attacks from Yemen pose a significant threat, leading to heightened security measures and widespread concern.
