Hezbollah’s heavy strike hits key Israeli base

Following recent bombings in Tel Aviv and central Israel, Hezbollah announced that it had targeted the “Ramat David” base and airport with “Fadi III” missiles in support of the Gaza Strip and Lebanon’s defense. The base is known as the most significant Israeli military base in the northern region.

Hezbollah also disclosed that they had bombed the “Kabri” settlement with “Fadi-I” missiles. Earlier in the week, the Elanya military base was bombarded with several Fadi-I missiles by Hezbollah as well.

The Fadi-I missile, introduced during the 2006 war, is equipped with an 83 kg warhead, 220 mm caliber, and a 70 km range. It is used to disrupt defense systems and target bases far from the front lines.

In response to the assassination of its military leaders and attacks in Beirut, Hezbollah has incorporated new missiles into their operation against Israel, including the Fadi missiles.
