Global backing of Moroccan Sahara affirms permanent status of Autonomy Plan

Published by

The growing international momentum in favor of the Moroccan Sahara confirms the irreversibility of a political solution based on the autonomy plan and the Kingdom’s national sovereignty, said Minister of Foreign Affairs Nasser Bourita.

Bourita emphasized the importance of the UN aligning with the reality on the ground and highlighted support for Morocco’s autonomy plan. He also mentioned Denmark’s recent support, bringing the total EU countries backing the initiative to 19.

This growing support, including Denmark’s new stance, reflects a positive trend across Europe, supporting Morocco’s territorial integrity and autonomy plan.
