The General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces reported 180 combat encounters with Russian invaders in the past 24 hours, with 48 enemy assaults repelled in the Pokrovsk area alone. Russian forces launched missile strikes, airstrikes, and mortar attacks on various Ukrainian positions and populated areas. Ukraine’s Air Force and artillery units also targeted Russian forces, destroying manpower clusters and air defense systems.
On different axes, Ukrainian defenders repelled multiple enemy attacks in areas like Kharkiv, Kupiansk, Lyman, Kramatorsk, Toretsk, Pokrovsk, Kurakhove, Vremivka, Orikhiv, and Huliaipole. Despite ongoing aggression, Russian offensive groupings were not detected in the Volyn and Polissia axes. Enemy artillery and aviation targeted Ukrainian settlements in the Chernihiv and Sumy regions. The General Staff confirmed a Ukrainian raid into the Kursk region.
Russian invaders suffered heavy casualties, with Ukrainian forces destroying numerous tanks, armored vehicles, artillery systems, UAVs, and specialized equipment. This intense fighting underscores the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and the resilience of Ukrainian forces in defending their sovereignty.
