Amidst ongoing conflict in the Middle East, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesperson for Yemen’s armed forces, revealed a significant operation carried out against three American destroyers. The operation, targeting the vessels heading to support the Israeli enemy in occupied territories, involved a combination of naval, air defense, and missile forces in Yemen.
A total of 23 ballistic and winged missiles, alongside kamikaze drones, were used in the operation which successfully hit the destroyers. This retaliation was described as the largest anti-Israeli maritime operation in response to prior US-British strikes on Yemen.
Saree emphasized Yemen’s readiness to conduct further military actions in solidarity with Palestinian and Lebanese resistance against Israeli aggression. The country remains committed to supporting these movements until Israel ceases its attacks and lifts restrictions on humanitarian aid.
Having suffered significant casualties, with thousands of Palestinians killed or injured in Gaza, Yemen continues its defiance against Israeli aggression. The armed forces pledge to persist until peace is restored in the region.
