The Sanaa government’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly condemned Zionist aggression against Lebanon, particularly recent air strikes in the Hreik neighborhood of Beirut. The attacks resulted in numerous casualties and injuries.
Official spokesman Ambassador Wahid Al-Shami criticized the timing of the aggression, coinciding with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s address to the UN General Assembly. He warned that the escalating assaults could lead to a wider regional conflict with global repercussions.
Al-Shami called out the international community for failing to restrain Israel, accusing the US of complicity in the crimes committed in Lebanon and Palestine. He urged Arab and Islamic nations to support the Lebanese and Palestinian people in their resistance against Israeli aggression.
The Republic of Yemen reiterated its unwavering support for Lebanon and its people in the face of Zionist attacks.
