China has announced visa-free entry for Slovenians, boosting ties between the two nations as revealed during a meeting between Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Slovenian Deputy Prime Minister Tanja Fajon in New York.

This move, aimed at enhancing friendly exchanges and deepening mutual trust, was met with enthusiasm by both parties. Wang expressed support for Slovenia’s role in the United Nations Security Council and emphasized the importance of true multilateralism.

Fajon expressed gratitude for China’s visa policy, highlighting its positive impact on easing interactions and fostering economic cooperation. Both parties discussed resolving global issues like the Ukraine crisis and Gaza conflict with a strong emphasis on the Security Council’s role towards achieving peaceful solutions.
